◆About this product
This kit is a modification toolset designed to help users add a monopod to the MAGPUL PRS LITE STOCK. Installation of this kit requires drilling. You will need to prepare your own drill. Drilling holes in the PRS LITE body is necessary for installation. If you do not wish to drill into the body, please do not proceed with installation. Additionally, to insert the Threaded Insert inside the PRS LITE STOCK, disassembly of the stock is required. Depending on product variations or specification changes, additional modification may be necessary.

◆How to install
STEP 1.
Place the “Drill Guide” firmly against the front end of the bottom surface of the PRS LITE Stock.

STEP 2.
While holding it securely in place, drill two holes into the bottom of the PRS LITE Stock through the holes in the “Drill Guide.” Be careful not to drill too deep.

STEP 3.
Remove the six screws of the PRS LITE Stock using a 1/8″ hex wrench and disassemble the stock. Be careful not to let the internal parts fall out during disassembly.

STEP 4.
Place the threaded insert—with the embedded nut—into the stock, aligning it with the drilled holes. Then reassemble the stock by tightening the screws in reverse order.

STEP 5.
Finally, attach the “Rail Adapter” and secure it with the included screws to complete the installation. Please attach your preferred monopod to the rail.

Tip: It is recommended to use a medium-strength threadlocker (e.g., LOCTITE 243) to prevent the screws from loosening.

◆Why I developed it
When enjoying my hobby of long-range shooting, I had always relied on a shooting rest. However, I often found it inconvenient when additional height was needed. To achieve a more comfortable shooting position, I began considering the use of a monopod. That required compatibility with stocks that could accept a monopod attachment—but to my disappointment, such stocks were quite limited.
Dedicated shooters usually invest in high-end specialized stocks, while casual users may feel sufficiently supported by a shooting rest. As a light user myself, I preferred the PRS-LITE for its ease of handling. Normally, when the PRS-LITE feels insufficient, the standard upgrade would be to move on to the PRS GEN3. But I was particularly fond of the PRS-LITE’s lightweight, simple design, and I wanted to find a way to equip it with a monopod instead.
That idea led me to think that perhaps other PRS-LITE users might feel the same way. With that in mind, I began developing this kit.
